This lovely little house has its own private entrance for guests. The hostess is very nice and the cooking is great, as prepared by her fisherman husband. Flowery veranda. Open dining/terrace area, ranchon style with bar, nice. Three bedrooms (two doubles, one quad), bathroom with hot water. Privacy guaranteed, the owners live across the street. Rates : 15-20cuc for each bedroom, breakfasts 3, dînners 8 and more according to choice. * Teresa has turned her ranchon comedor into a paladar named TERESA DEL MAR. Dinner was a disaster. Dry swordfish frozen! And still no dessert offered. We were surprised and upset ... The next day, the note was very salty : 120 CUC for 2 nights (20cuc) + 4 meals (10cuc each frozen fish or lobster dinner) + 4 CUC. The rest ? 2 soups at lunch, 4 beers and 2 mojitos for 24 cuc! Heavy handed, Teresa ... We do not speak Spanish, too bad. Stayed for 2 nights, we had not asked the taxi to pick us back for Vinales because Teresa on arrival told us she would arrange it. However in the morning, she told us she could not find one so we ended up with our luggage on the side of the road trying to find transportation back.
