Young gentleman (and chef at the Florida Centro) Alba spent a lot of energy and dinero to rebuild this colonial casa from ruins.
The whole décor from its high portal, its sala opening to the street and the comedor with a lovely dresser leading to lighted patio were well planned and rehabilitated. The air-conditioned bedroom has two double beds to each side of a huge armoire, its own ensuite bathroom as well as a handy desk cum vanity and a tiny tv. The Provincial Heritage (Patrimonio) Centre awarded the casa a Mention for Preservacion and restauration of the building in 2009, one of rare cases where an individual and not an institution was thus celebrated.
