This is Luis Deulofeu’s casa and farm and art studio. Luis was born in a nearby town, has lived in Madrid and Paris. He is a published author, (Don't cry, don't be afraid - With me, nothing's going to happen to you.) and other award winning novels in Spanish.

He lives on the property in an independent area. Meals are prepared by the housekeepers, using food from the certified-organic farm. Breakfast : included. Lunch & Dinner: 12cuc. Drinks and snacks can be prepared. All excursions available through the casa : walking, riding, cycling in the privileged setting of the valley.

"We couldn’t have asked for a nicer casa and hosts. Owner Any had a huge smile from the moment we arrived and her family is so welcoming. The room was comfortable, with handy mosquito nets! The bathroom clean and the minibar stocked and reasonably priced.

Any’s breakfasts are delicious, the cinnamon pancakes especially and we ate on the terrace one evening too - with the chicken so well flavoured."

This casa is excellently located just outside the town about a 4 minute walk. Yuneyka made us feel completely relaxed and arranged everything for us including our taxi to Trinidad and an unreal walking tour with Juan to the nearby tobacco and coffee plantations.

The dominant view from this house is the neighboring rock face of Guajiro Ecologico. You have the exclusive use of the living room, dining room and space to hang your clothes to dry.

True Viñaleros and modest peasants, their large farm produces fresh food every day. Yoan will be the guide for your horse rides.

Enter the small village of El Palmar by the path that begins just before the last house west of Salvador Cisneros street (Villa La Rueda). Turn right / north at the "El Cowboy" sign and cross a bridge. The path becomes a dirt road and you are in El Palmar.

Villa Las Vegas is a semi-detached house with 2 beds in a single room. A bedroom with two beds, private bathroom, patio.

Opposite Villa Las Vegas (next up) is Villa Las Palmeras. A bedroom and a view from the large terrace of El Mogote del Valle.

Las Vegas and Las Palmeras are the first houses on the road entering El Palmar and the closest to Viñales. Continuing on the dirt road that leads to El Palmar, the few houses to come also rent good rooms. Two air conditioning, private bathrooms, patio.

VILLA DAMARYS
Villa Damarys is a recently reconstructed house located at the end of the dirt road which crosses El Palmar. The house also overlooks Salvador Cisneros, the main street of Viñales.

New bathroom and bedroom and private entrance. The family is also new to the rental, eager to please and negotiates a low price for a longer stay.

A good offer for most mountaineers who come for 7 days or more. The house sits in the middle of groves of coffee and hibiscus, a small house on a large estate.

“Since 1998, the climbers' base camp at Viñales has been with Oscar Jaime and Leyda Robaina. The happy days when the first American and Cuban climbers shared the floor space in a couple of rooms are long gone. It has become a 3 or 4 star casa, with several bedrooms and bathrooms and private terraces.

“There is a mural photo retracing the history of rock climbing in the valley. The Jaime and Robaina families envelop you with warmth and care. The space consists of several houses all connected by parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Located on top of a hill, the "Balcón del Ermitano" (hermit's balcony in Spanish) is within walking distance from the center of Viñales but far from the noise. Ideal starting point for many hikes, horseback or bicycle rides, the house offers a privileged view of the valley and its mogotes. Two large air-conditioned rooms can be rented (cap. 5 pers. each), private bathrooms.
