Nurca is retired from a long career as a professional accountant. Her occupation since Spring 2011 is running her rental casa where she offers three bedrooms — off her large patio, independently-located and privately-accessed from the side street.

She lives with her two sons, graduate engineers working full time; they live in the original casa building and have no children or pets.

The casa was built after WW II in an elegant and quiet part of Vedado. Well preserved and beautifully furnished in the style of that era, the rental area (see plans below) overlooks the large patio in a separate building divided in two : one with an aircon bedroom with double beds, an ensuite bath and a kitchenette and pantry.

The other (plan below "Entrada 2 y 3") features two bedrooms : one with a double, the other with two single beds; a private terrace and one ensuite bath are also part of that rental. If necessary, another single bed can be added to either bedroom suites; the three bedrooms have air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, DVD player, an ensuite bathroom, safety-deposit box and telephone.

The "room-hab 1" can be rented and accessed independently : its own entrance and kitchen / dining area, equipped with everything needed to prepare meals and the other two bedrooms (Hab 2-3 terms) share a bathroom and a private terrace.

The patio measures 700 sq-meter and boasts a ranchon (covered space) with barbecue (for use by guests), a large terrace and tropical garden with flowering plants and fruit trees, a small swimming pool (6 x 4m), ideal for "cooling the heat" in summer. Lodging is accessed by side street calle 26 without having to disturb owners (see plans below), the hostess allows travelers to invite friend (s) Cuban (s); daily room cleaning, towels , soap, toilet paper; laundry service.

Travelers can take advantage of an affordable driver service with his own car and, if so wished, a tour guide; this service can cover the city and surrounding area 24/7; rates on request.

Rates : 35cuc per bedroom in high season; 30cuc per bedroom in low, 10% discount for renting all three bedrooms; 10% discount for renting a room for 20 days or more; breakfasts served for 3cuc continental 5cuc pp full; other meals available on request.
