Bertila Ayala and Ramon Rosales are a retired coouple who have been renting for the past 15 years; Bertila was a longtime textile worker, a specialist of fine looms; Ramon spent his worklife as a construction engineer. The couple lives with their 18-year old grandson. As they say so well "Our casa was built during the Fifties. It has been well-preserved, still furnished with lovely furniture from that era. We offer a totally independent apartment in one of the most elegant and quiet districts of La Habana. "At our guests' disposal are two large air-conditioned bedrooms, one with a large (king size) bed and each with fridge, television set, telephone and their own ensuite bathroom. "The amenities include an elegant living room, an independent and furnished kitchen a dining room and a pantry with what is needed for travellers to prepare, serve and enjoy their own meals. "Furthermore, our guests will want to enjoy the terraza cum tropical patio with plants, flowers and fruit trees.
