Emilio, formerly a dentist and University Professor completed in early 2011 an ambitious project to renovate from top to bottom the second floor of this beautiful building circa 1927.
This large casa is tastefully furnished and decorated with an offering of 10 air conditioned bedrooms most with a very large and single, two with balcony, most with minibar, an ensuite bathroom and a phone (with internal service), a large lounge at the front, dining room and kitchen at the rear plus a terrace & dining area on the roof with its own toilet. The casa is now (late 2014) run by Damaris & Yor (tour guide) — both at ease in English — as well as Terez and Julia. They seem to be trying - with this unique place in the country - to offer a different type of accommodation both Cuban and Urban, some may want to call it a "boutique hotel". |
